February favorites

• Maybe it is a little bit early for the February Favorites post but I really wanted to plan it ahead, taking advantage of the weekend and the free time that I still have.

• Starting with makeup, I have a few staples that I have been reaching for in February that I want to share with you:
• Incepand cu produsele de machiaj, am avut cateva produse de baza dupa care am intins mana in luna Februarie, si anume:

The two foundations that I have bought and tried out this month are both from the drugstore - Rimmel Wake Me Up (that I own in shade100 Ivory, which is a tad bit light for my skintone) and the new Bourjois BB Cream Foundation in 23 Rose Beige.I have chosen the first one when I needed a little bit more coverage and the BB cream when I wanted something natural and effortless. The concealer that I have used this month is an old love of mine, Benefit's Erase Paste in the 2nd shade, Medium. I love that it has a samlmon-peachy tone to it, that makes it perfect for use on the undereye area.

Cele doua fonduri de ten pe care le-am cumparat in luna Februarie au fost Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation (nuanta 100 Ivory care e tenta prea deschisa pentru mine), pentru care am optat in zilele in care aveam nevoie de mai multa acoperire si BB Foundation de la Bourjois, nuanta 23 Rose Beige, pentru un finish lejer si natural. Concealer-ul pe care l-am tot folosit luna aceasta a fost Erase Paste de la Benefit. E un corector cu putere medie spre mare de acoperire, cu un subton piersiciu- numai bun de aplicat peste cearcane . Nuanta pe care o folosesc este 2- Medium.

I think there isn't a single soul on planet Earth that does not know how this palette looks like. Yes, I'm talking about the Naked 1 eyeshadow palette from Urban Decay. Perfect for both daytime and night time, it is a must have for me. I don't travel anywhere without it and you can see it is much loved, taking into account its appereance :)

Pentru farduri de ochi, am intins mana cel mai mult dupa Naked 1 de la Urban Decay. Cred ca nu exista persoana pe blogosfera care sa nu stie cum arata aceasta paleta. Nu plec niciunde fara ea, mi se pare paleta perfecta. Puteti vedea si in poze cat e de iubita  :))

Another beauty staple for me- MAC's Well Dressed blush, a cool toned shimmery - but not overpowering pink colour. I think it goes with every skintone and every look there is.

 Blushul Well Dressed de la MAC este preferatul meu din toate timpurile. Este o nuanta roz pal care complementeza orice machiaj. Il iubesc pentru zi de zi. Are un finish Satin ce il face perfect pentru cand imi e mult prea lene sa mai aplic si un highligter.

Given that it is still pretty cold outside and my lips are not exactly plump and moisturised, found myself reaching for Revlon's Lip Butter in 095- Creme Brulee because of its hidratying properties. It is nice and thick and it has a great everyday color- the perfect nude to go with everything. 

Pentru buze, Revlon Lip Butter in nuanta 095- Creme Burlee a fost alegerea mea nr 1. E foarte hranitor si hidratant si are o culoare neutra, perfecta pentru zi.

Skin Care

For removing my makeup, this month I rekindled my love for micelar water. I have tried the Bioderma Sensibio H20 for sensitive skin for the first time this month and I have to say I love it. It is very mild but it removes makeup like no other. I think it will be in my beauty routine for a long time from now on. For the odd blemish here and there, I used La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, a spot treatment for unruly skin. I use it for about 1 year now and I still reach for it when my skin is naughty. Soap and Glory Scrub Your Nose in it is a product that I have mentioned in my 25 beauty questions tag. It is a scrub and mask 2 in 1 that clarifies the pores and makes the entire complexion soft and radiant, even if you use it as a mask and leave in on for 3 minutes, exactly how it says on the packaging or you just use it as a regular exfoliator. 

Pentru demachere, luna aceasta am redecoperit dragostea mea pentru lotiunile micelare. Am incercat  Bioderma Sensibio H20 pentru ten sensibil pentru prima data luna aceasta si pot sa spun ca sunt mai mult decat multumita. Este usoara si blanda insa ii vine de hac machiajului in cateva secunde. Eu am cumparat-o la 250 ml de la Sensiblu, la oferta, 1+1 gratuit. Pentru enervantele cosuri de pe fata, am folosit La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, un tratament local pentru imperfectiuni care nu lipseste niciodata din arsenanul meu de ingrijire a fetei. Exfoliantul 2 in 1 de la Soap and Glory l-am mentionat si in Lepsa- 25 de intrebari despre frumusete, unde recunosteam ca nu imi exfoliez tenul si buzele atat de des cum ar trebui. Insa acest produs a facut exfolierea fetei putin mai usoara pentru ca miroase a menta si are un ambalaj practic si dragut. 

Body Care

Another Soap and Glory product that I have used because of its pretty packaging and the amazing smell it has (think brown sugar and lime-YUM!) is the Flake Away body scrub. It makes the skin amazingly soft and the smell lingers for hours and hours on the skin. My relationship with the body butters from The Body Shop dates for years and years. I always have a miniature body butter in my bag, to keep my dry hands moisturized. This particular one is the Vanilla Bliss scent and it was limited edition for Christmas but I think you can still get your hands on it. (literally!! :)) )

Un produs de corp pe care m-am regasit folosindu-l tot din prisma ambalajului dragut si al mirosului a fost tot Soap and Glory. Flake away e un scrub destinat corpului care miroase a Green Apple (bautura aceea delicioasa cu zahar brun si lime-Yum!). Relatia de iubire pe care o am cu unturile de corp The Body Shop dateaza de ani buni. Pe cel care vi l-am prezentat il tin in geanta (este varianta mini de 50 de ml care ma tine insa cateva luni bune de uz zilnic), pentru ca am mainile foarte uscate, mai ales acum, iarna. Isi face treaba mai bine decat orice alta crema de maini incercata de mine. Aroma/mirosul pe care il am eu este editie limitata si se numeste Vanilla Bliss.

The nailpolish from the Skyfall collection I raved about in the 25 Beauty Questions Tag was The World Is Not Enough by OPI. A beautiful, rich gunmetal color that the photos just don't do any justice to. It is maybe the most complex nailpolish I have ever seen. I purchased it at the beginning of February and I have been wearing it non-stop ever since. I even have it on my nails right now. The Rimmel Nailpolish near it is a strenghtening base coat that I have repurchased twice already and that I really enjoy.

Oja despre care va povesteam in Tag-ul 25 Intrebari de Beauty este nu alta decat The World Is Not Enough by OPI. Este poate cea mai complexa oja pe care am vazut-o vreodata si este favorita mea din toate oje pe care le am. Am cumparat-o de la inceputul lunii si de atunci o port non-stop, chiar si acumam unghiile pictate in aceasta culoare. Oja Rimmel de langa cea OPI este o baza care intareste unghiile. Am cumparat-o de nenumarate ori si isi face treaba foarte bine.

If you cannot tell by now, I'm a sucker for packaging. If it looks cute and it smells nice, I am sold. This was the case with the S-Factor by Tigi Shampoo and Conditioner, which smell like strawberry milkshake! It makes my hair soft, maneageble and super shiny. A love at first use :)

Am comandat aceste produse de par pe la sfarsitul lunii Ianuarie si de cand le am, le folosesc de fiecare data cand ma spal pe cap pentru ca mirosul este demential (Atat samponul cat si balsamul miros a milshake de capsuni.). Am uitat si de Macadamia Natural Oil si de Goldwell sau altele in favoarea gamei S-Factor de la Tigi. Imi lasa parul moale, hidratat, stralucitor si catifelat la atingere. Ce sa-ti doresti mai mult de la un sampon?

Now even though my skin and hair are dry, I love to use dry shampoo. This particular one is by the Lee Stafford and it is created for dark haired beauties. Another staple in my haircare routine is my pink! Tangle Teezer. 

Cu toate ca am atat parul cat si pielea uscate, imi place sa folosesc sampon uscat pentru a absoarbe din sebumul de la radacini si atunci cand am nevoie de putin volum. Acesta este de la Lee Stafford (produsele lui se gasesc in DM) si este special conceput pentru parul inchis la culoare. Un obiect de baza din rutina mea de ingrijire a parului a devenit si Tangle Tezeer. E singura perie pe care o folosesc ( in afara de peria rotativa de la Babyliss care e indispensabila pentru mine de fiecare data cand imi spal parul).

Random Favorites

Muffins - This month I have found a recipe online that only takes about 10 minutes to make them from scratch, including baking (in the microwave, of course) I have been making a dozen almost every evening.

Revenge - No, not directed towards someone, the tv show. I don't usually watch this kind of shows but this one got me hooked. I can't wait for the new episodes!

Holiday - Nothing beats some R&R on a well deserved holiday, after tons and tons of exams. Too bad I'm starting school tomorrow :))

April's Caffee - Obviously, could not let that one out!
